I forgot to share my birthday outing with my men with you all. I had been longing to go back to the natural science museum in Mississippi for years. The Last time we went was in 2007 and we never had the chance to return. The boys were so little. The pictures kill me they were so cute and small. Remy was my little baby!
We loaded up the car with three boys in tow this time.
Remy found a pretty cool bug on our way into Subway for dinner. My Remy...always finds the critters. ;)
Everyone was so darn excited when we pulled up.
Remy was super thrilled that the special exhibit this time was FROGS!
Just steps away from some learning fun on Mom's birthday!
They had African Clawed Frogs the size of Matt's hands!
The favorite of last time was still there.
Remy found some tadpoles.
Even Noah enjoyed looking at the frogs. :) He was SO into it!
How far can a Remy Frog jump?
The star of the show for us was the Poison Dart Frogs. They were so cute. They would sit so still and they looked just like little toy frogs we have bought for Remy. We sat for so long in front of that tank.
This was cute, you pressed the system button on the side panel and it lit up where it belonged on the tree frog.
Looking around...
This picture makes me sad. They sat looking at this and dreaming of our beach vacation we were scheduled to take a few weeks back. :(
We all loved the tanks as much as last time.
This snake family was very...cuddly.
It must have been love day at the museum. These two are good buddies.
We were looking around and saw this through the window. We had just talked about this guy and how he is mean to the bees. Remy was upset about it, but he thought it neat to actually see it happen.
This is a photo of my two little boys back in 2007.
2011.
Noah really enjoyed himself and he was so well behaved.
We stopped for supper and as we came out to head home the clouds were rolling in and we knew we would have rain if we stuck around.
Driving home...
Crossing back over the Mississippi River...almost home.

I just love your little family of men. I have 6 African clawed frogs :) They are neato. Two of mine are albinos.
That last photo is gorgeous! It looks like a wonderful trip, minus the snakes. EEK! I love the photo of the boys when they were little and your photo of the new addition to your family this year. So sweet.
How much fun! I love this post~
Sounds like a wonderful birthday to me!!
What a beautiful trip. I am not sure if I could have used the same language as Cuddly for the snakes... You are a good mama to share your birthday with your boys like this.
