I have always wanted to knit. I actually learned to crochet because it was to me the easier of the two. Thanks to my sweet young friend Hannah I knitted up this washcloth for my Noey for Trick or Treat time. I had the hardest time casting on. After she showed me that and how to knit I was on my way.
I found the pattern here:

I am working on his turkey one now. :)

I am so stinkin' proud of you!! You did AWESOME with your washcloth! Hannah has tried to teach me, and I just tell her she is wasting her time. I can't sit still long enough to do projects like that. I know she was excited to finally be able to show somebody how to do that!!
I could do that! Thanks for the link. I can knit and purl but I really have no ambition right now for a big project. I like ones that I can complete in a reasonable amount of time!
I love having Hannah teach me, Nicole! :)
