Eli day 92 of 2nd grade / Remy day 21 of kinder

I know it has been a long time! SORRY! We have new family with us. Mikey and Sabrina are here with us and then we went to Florida for a LONG while! And then we had to get settled in back home. Lots of stuff going on. I think it was like 9 weeks away! AHHHHH!

We have our little pool up and the kids are having a blast!
I call this my little Eli, Eli Bond! Ha ha!

Remy has the BEST closeups! I just adore him. :)

We have also adventured into the namadic lifestyle. The kids love that they ate lizards and they just giggle and scream "lizard stew" whenever the occasion arises. Hee hee. They have just learned so much. It is amazing. I didn't know any of it. And now Eli talks about the fertile cresent like it is everyday language. We also made game bags and we painted "caves" with our own art. The boys also started breaking out the dino's. They know how history is studied and "found out". Just these first two chapters of SOTW has paid for itself. I am WOWED! :)

Here is one of the game bags. They put toy lizards in it of course. That just tickles my funny bone. The lizards are tiny crocs and I hope to use them when we make our nile river in the future.

We have been reading about the French and Indian War and the American Revolution. I didn't remember any of that either! Why couldn't my teachers teach me in such a fun way? I would be a darn genious now if they had.

Okay...I hope to be back...I know it we are ready to dive into our studies again!
