A Rainy Day in Jammies

Today we were very lazy...well comfy! The boys stayed in jammies all day and we did school at a leisurely pace. It was nice again to listen to the storm and to feel sleepy while doing snuggly school work. I know that the kids enjoyed the sunny outdoors with barefoot schooling...but I love the rainy days. With no one here but us, taking it slow...

Last night the boys made the pyramids, Remy's looks more like a spinx. Hee hee...

Eli did all of his stuff today like normal. He knows all of the spelling words so we will be moving on to new ones tomorrow. He read about chipmunks today and did some graphing in math.

Remy was Remy...quick as lightning and happy to do his work. Here he is writing in his writing book. It had veggies on the paper so he ate a carrot while he worked.

In math we used his farm animals to make math problems, and he LOVED it!

He also of course had animal time. But with Bunny this time! Bunny is BETTER! I had to force feed her for three days but she is back to her curious self and begging to get out and bounce around. :) Praise God! I am reminded of Proverbs 12:10 "A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast."
It was such a blessing to care for her and to help her and love her through her illness. And I cried and got on my knees and prayed for my wee bunny. Look at how big she is now! She is eating like a PIG! It reminds one of how God tends to us and desires us to be with him. I so wanted that little bunny to stay with us and get big and fat. :)

Last but not least here is Mikey holding his wee baby brother!

Oh, your bunny has grown so much!! I'm glad she's better.

It's always so much fun when the kids willingly do their work instead of arguing about whether or not they're going to... :-)

Oh wow! We had school in our pj's too. That weather was so bad and I knew that we were not gonna get out in it, so we had out lessons in our pajamas. It is not very often we get to do it, but it was wonderful!

Those were some great pyramids the boys made. How cool. I could have sent you some of the hail that we had during that bad weather for them to build them with. LOL!

Lindsay uses the little felt farm animals for her addition, but your farm animals are such a wonderful idea. I am off to Wal-Mart to do some last minute Valentine's day shopping and I think that I will be adding a little package of these to her Valentine's Day gifts if I find some. Great idea!

I was so happy to hear that Bunny is all better. YAY! I was praying for her. She sure is growing fast and so cute.

OH! I'm glad bunny is better! I love that Remy was eating a carrot to go along with his veggie worksheet! He's a character! I'd love to squeeze him. :)
