Another day of Nature!

Both boys were done with their work quickly today. I got a loaf of bread rising and then baking.

Remy was busy taping leaves and flowers on paper for a while. He likes doing that, such a sweet boy. *sigh*

The boys planted the few things we had forgotten about.

After the bread was baked we went outside. We checked on the garden and we have a cucumber flower!

The boys then went swimming and I mowed the lawn. While I was mowing I see a cicada on his back, he can't turn over! I get him and stop mowing for a while. The boys and I watch him moving around. Just a blind little critter hoping for a secure place to cling to so he can start his amazing transformation. :)

After dinner tonight we checked on him and LOOK!

We had another warm day full of learning and sweet fellowship together! Is it possible to live in such sweetness? :)

I did NOT touch him! I let him grab onto the grass and then I put him in the habitat! *laugh*

Matthew and Remy held him.

And he had flown away by this morning.

Wow, I don't even know what a cicada IS! They are not around where I live. I had to Wikipedia it. It is much too dry here I guess. He looks kind of blecky to me. Course with your boys into every bug and insect I am sure they love it when you find them things like that. My oldest sees a bug and screams.
