The Simple Woman's Daybook

TODAY...
Outside My Window...
I am looking for the man I have been looking for ALL DAY...the BoxMan...or as a friend would have me say...UPS man. I want him to bring Eli's last box of third grade stuff. We are so ready to start. But we just knew it wouldn't be until after 5ish. *sigh*

Other than that the air is warm and the sun's kisses are more easily felt than in the start of Spring. Summer is right around the corner and we are so looking forward to our first full summer in our home. We have almost been here a year. That is just shocking to me. A YEAR! The Lord has truly been good in so many ways. :)

I am thinking...
About my youngest boy Remy. Today he awoke with violent vomiting AGAIN. At the doctor's office his blood and urine samples were perfect and my noon he was in good health again. We had thought it was the deet...now we are not so sure. His doctor says he has had other patients do this before. *sigh* His blood and urine show no signs of his body fighting an infection. He has no fever. Just wakes up once each week throwing up and violently ill. He gave us a prescription for the sickies when they appear again...but we are just being watchful. It isn't diabetes like Eli has. So please be in prayer that this just doesn't end up into something big our family must live through. We are not emotionally at a point too....not with all that has happened to us thus far. *sigh*

I am thankful for...
Our sweet little spot on this planet. I love this town, the people, the work in our lives. Really life is just sweet. Our walk in life has given us this grand sense of things around us. And how the Lord's perfect will is just well...perfect. I thank him for each lesson and each moment he gives me.

From the kitchen...
Easy Cheesy Drop Danish, my hubby makes these and we LOVE them!
Photobucket
Make them yourself!

I am wearing...
my favorite safari type khaki's and my melon v-cut polo with barefeet. *laugh*

I am creating...
some summer fun lessons for my boys and a friends children to do together. Motion/Machines and sewing are on the list. I can't wait to get with them once a week for our fun and relaxed schooling. Her children are in public school and I can't wait for them to see learning like what my two do all the time.

I am going...
to mail my grandmother a dolly I bought her from the Antique stores here. I can't wait to hear hear reaction.

I am reading...
So many things...but Farm Sanctuary seems to be my favorite...you can see it on my bookshelf.

I am hoping...
to see our simulus check soon, Matt's car needs attention and I want some sewing projects of my own. :)

I am hearing...
The hum of the air conditioner and my sweet birdies tweets for our attention. Remy is besides me playing his transformer game on his DS.

Around the house...
I have plans for deep cleaning this week. Our Sabrina and boys will be here soon! They may stay for 2 whole weeks!

One of my favorite things...
is to wash my hair after a long swim. My hair feels so soft and just different after a swim and a wash. It even styles easier.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
*Cleaning of course.
*Eli and I are ready for the first week of his new curriculum.
*To keep Eli's sugar's in tight control.
*To unpack a bit more out of Matt's *office*.
*Wash the doggies.
*And enjoy the calm before our house becomes hectic with a 2 year old and a 7 month old! *laugh*

Here is picture thought I am sharing...(add your picture here)

this is our first cache we found.

Remy almost has his cache ready to hide for all the treasure seekers...he is going to make it an Indy themed cache! We should hide it in the next few days. ;)

My prayers are with Remy hon. I am hoping that maybe he just has a little bug that doesn't want to let go. Is there a possibility that he is eating something (the same thing) once a week that his stomach may not be agreeing with?
