Week 9 of the weight loss journey!

I have gone from 180.4 last week to *drumroll please* 179.2 this week!

To recap for new people, I started at 194 pounds and today I am 179.2! It took me 2 months and a week to get below 180. I had thought it would go faster, or rather I had hoped. But this week was so easy! I did allow myself a BIG CHEAT yesterday! I had a handful of chips and a snickers bar. YUM-O! I can't even tell you how good it tasted! It was better than I remember. But before cutting out the treats they were not tasting that good anyway. *laugh* Food is so good now! Although I am tired of broccoli. It makes me want to vomit now. Hee hee.

The measurements that were effected this week was my:
Thighs: started at 26 inches and now today 23.5
Waist: started at 41.5 and now today 34

If I take the tape measure and circle each part at the starting inches the tape measure just sags and is SO loose I have to hold it up.

I weigh around 182ish with clothes and shoes and food in my belly now. I can pull my pants off without undoing them!

About 3 weeks ago I tried on a size 16 and they looked good! Not snug at all but still loose so they look good, but fit. I started at a tight size 18. I can now put clothes on from my closet that I haven't worn in A LONG TIME!

On Matt's next day off we will go to Target and I will try on the 16 and a size smaller to see how they fit. I may even buy something for myself as a treat! :) Not to mention that one pair of my pants doesn't even fit anymore. They fall off and I do not wear belts. Well, I haven't worn a belt since I have been heavier, the belts cut into me too much. Maybe now it would be different? I only have a small pooch to get rid of at the bottom of my tummy now. When I stand in just undies sideways my tummy looks GREAT! Mattmos (the hubby) is LOVING IT! *giggle*

The lady that has helped me on this journey is married to a student Chiropracter. He says that for every pound overweight you are that is 5 more pounds of pressure on your body! That is big folks!

I have lost 14.8 pounds! That is about 75 pounds of pressure off of my body! I have been moving easier.

And the BIG highlight of the day! My thighs are starting to NOT RUB together so much! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I'm so proud of you!!! It's so hard to want something and not be able to eat it. Sometimes it is good to let yourself have it...I do believe that.
Between Jeff and me, we gained 17 lbs. on our cruise!! It is impossible to go on one without gaining...so I've heard and experienced!! I gained 7, and Jeff gained 10. We are still trying to get rid of it. It's amazing how fast you can gain it and how long it takes to get rid of it.
I got your note on myspace. Yes, call me so I can tell you all about it!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!
