Only the Best for Bumble

I know I don't talk much about the pg on here. This pregnancy has truly been a labor of love for me. The hardest thing I have ever done. I have pretty much struggled to school the boys, feed them, and keep my patience. This pregnancy has drained me and hurt for the most part of it.

I have taken it hard because my time growing my boys was just so easy and fun! I was not prepared for the type of pregnancy mamas would often complain to me about. I tend to think God has given me exactly the pregnancy I needed and that it will help me to serve the women in my practice on a whole new level! Those mamas were crazy for a reason. I know that now!

Anywho, I haven't written much because I didn't want my blog plastered with how miserable I was for all eternity. I am very much looking forward to the day I awake in labor. Then I can do something to help Bumble out of me!

One of the things that has helped me is this product from Burt's Bees.

It beats that stupid Palmer's belly butter to shreds! I love the way it goes on and how it feels. It isn't sticky and it truly nourishes your skin. My stretch marks went from angry red to a light pink within a day of using this. If your baby is stretching your belly to the max...go get some!

I understand. All my pregnancies were rough. The last was a surprise and I really wasn't...in the spirit of going through all that again.

Then it was September 11th, 2001.

I suddenly was so aware of how fragile life is and I welcomed this new life growing within me. It still wasn't easy and we had difficult days as we prepared for a home birth without knowing how we would pay for it (insurance rejected our claim), but my attitude was much better. I would do it over again in a second. Those third children are pretty special people! (both my husband and I are the third of three)

I hope these final days go quickly and easily for you! {{{hugs}}}

Peace and Laughter,

Yes, I keep hearing those thirds are something else. :) I can't wait to see it myself. :)

Yes, those thirds are AMAZING!!! Our third is a riot and keeps is in stitches all day long! Though our surprise 4th is turing out to be quite an amazing little blessing! Hard to believe he will be six months tomorrow!!! Time flies!

I agree with the 3rd kids being special and 3rd pregnancies being not at all what you expect. My other pregnancies were so good and I too felt like other women were just not appreciating it more or whatever. This was a HARD pregnancy for me too. I guess it is true what Peggy wrote in Baby Catcher, "1st babies are long labors, 2nd are faster and 3rd are completely unpredictable" and it can be said for the pregnancies too. HUGS! I SO know how you feel and can empathize very much.

I think she was right as well. But, man it is harder when I am that mama expecting my third! HA HA

The weather this summer certainly does not help either. I remember going to the hospital weekly the summer before my youngest was born. Each heat wave would dehydrate me no matter how much I drink. I needed IV hydration every.single.week. It left me frustrated, weak and so ready to deliver her into the world. Soon this will be just a memory and you will have a beautiful person to share your life with!

Well, you know I think that 3rds are quite the special gift!!!! You also know how badly I struggled carrying Ladybug and I am SO sorry to hear that you have been struggling. I was so praying you were having an easy pregnancy and just not writing about it much. I was always looking for updates! Now I know why they were minimal.

It won't be long now, I pray for peace throughout the end...

You have done SO well Mama! We are very proud of you :) I know it has been super hard this time, and I am glad that it is almost over and she will be here very very soon!!
The Burts Bees balm looks amazing! I wish I would have tried that on mine. I was young and stupid, and I used nothing but regular lotion, so basically my stretch marks still look like I'm pg, lol :)
Come on Bumble! We are ready for your debut!!
I love you!!
