Eli had his first current event to research. I had him find an article in a newspaper, read it, and then write down atleast three points from the article. When I first brought this up to him he wasn't thrilled about it. He now loves doing them. :) YAY!
I think it is important for him to see the things happening around him that will be history when he is an old man. He has also brought news to my attention that I wouldn't have seen.
