My Bestie, Heather Weather

I have blogged about Heather's family before. She is my best friend since I was four years old. I love her so much!

I was able to see her hold my new baby! A major highlight of my trip. :)

I was only able to see her little Destiny. I missed my other three so much. :( They were in school and my time was very short.

Remy was able to play with the little sweetie pie, my baby dolly.

Time With the Castleberry's

Heather and I grew up together as next door neighbors. She has visited before when she was pregnant with my little baby doll, Destiny. Destiny is now almost 6 months old and as yummy as she can be! :)

Elijah LOVED her and said she was a little angel from heaven. :) I can't wait to have Elijah's help with our future new baby. I so want to see him with a wee one all our own. :) He was just smitten with Destiny.

She is my BABY DOLLY! FOR REALLY!

She loved her Aunt Chelita. :) And Aunt Chelita LOVED her!

Dylan is the third child in the family. :) He gave me so many loves while he was here! He is such a great child and I wish I could love on him all the time.

Photobucket

Desiree is the 2nd child in this sweet family. Little Miss Diva has me and Matthew wrapped around her little finger! Cute doesn't even begin to describe this little fairy of a girl. She is so sweet and she says exactly what she feels and thinks. It make me desire a daughter of my own all over again! They are so different. *sigh*

She wanted to catch a turtle and so she just walked into the bayou that was covered in green and she thought it was grass or land. We still can't believe she did this! She lost her pretty princess flip-flops. It broke my heart!

Dawsen is the first child to Mike and Heather and he reminds me the most of my dear childhood friend. He is so quiet and thoughtful. :) I bet those thoughts run very deep. He is a spelling word master!

We enjoyed them so much and it was really sad to see them go home. Remy and Eli were so upset that they left. Thankyou for a wonderful weekend guys!

Birdie Fun with Robins

Elijah started studying robins a few days ago in school.

Photobucket

Photobucket

And he planted a "sensitive plant".

Photobucket

Remy read a play about Robin parents and little baby robin birds.

Photobucket

He made a mobile.

Photobucket

He used flys to help him in math.

Photobucket

It is hard to see what this is a photo of. I drew a cookie and he was able to put a vanilla chip on the cookie for each spelling word he spelled correctly. And then he ate them up. ;)

Photobucket

He studied his hand in science and then he drew it.

Photobucket

Remy also drew this cute monster for me. :)

We had a great week of school with daddy home and now we are up for a wonderful weekend with my childhood friend Heather and her family. Lots of bloggy goodness for me to update with come Monday. :)

Matthew had the call from Target FINALLY, we are now waiting that call for the second interview! We so need this!

My OTHER sister...

I grew up next to a little girl all of my life that became my sister. Her mother is still my Aunt Donna. :) I see them as no different than my blood family. Aunt Donna was there for my mother during the whole process of the funeral and mourning. I love her dearly...

Getting to see Heather and her children was a real treat for me. :)

This is Dylan is Heather's 3rd child and he is so darn sweet!

Photobucket

Photobucket

This is Heather's newest itty bitty! She wouldn't wait on her Aunt Chelita...I wanted to help her mama and daddy on her birthday but that didn't happen. Stinkin' babies! Hee hee...

Photobucket

This is the DIVA, Desiree! She looks so much like the little girl Heather I loved as a child. But she is so different from her mother. She is the life of the party and is not bashful in the least. :) Isn't she beautiful?

Photobucket

Heather and her family have dealt with so much in the past year I wish them peace and happiness in this new year. I love you guys! You will always be family to me. :)

My Childhood Friend and Geocaching!

Okay...I need to start out with the spore print we made!
Photobucket

Isn' t that NEATO???

My childhood friend from the time I was 4 years old came to visit me this weekend. She was in need of some time away from the mighty pressures of wifehood and motherhood. I was extremely blessed to be the place to chose to come to. :) I love you HEATHER!!!

We went geocaching in a small town about 30 minutes away.

We also came home to swim, but the baby in her belly made the water pressure feel strange. Hee hee...

That night we went to see Hancock. I loved the time to be right there with her with NO CHILDREN! :)

After she left on Sunday we went to Vicksburg, MS. What for? GEOCACHING!!! *laugh*

Word to the wise...do not attempt to find your coordinates on the site on a Sunday. It will NOT happen! I almost lost my mind waiting on that site to load. UGH! Heather can tell you all how crazy it was!

We got to Vicksburg late in the day because of it. But on the way we bought some figs! YUM-O! They are Remy's favorite food.
Photobucket

In this photo I am waiting for him to blow a bubble. I never did catch the bubbles but I did get what we call his secret smile. :)
Photobucket

We have to say that Vicksburg was a NEAT place to geocache! And old town with lots of charm and a deep old feeling that only a place so rich in history can give you. Matthew and I fell in love with this place.

Here is the first cache.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Remy found it!
Photobucket

We went to another one. And. We didn't find it. We will be back one day!
Photobucket

It was a micro cache that we should have been able to find. I went to the site and it looks like others are saying it is gone? Oops!

In Vicksburg they have this HUGE 16 mile loop drive through National Military Park where the main battlefield was. There were many statues. Just a pretty place. And VERY NEAT for a cache!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

We saw a wild turkey while there!
Photobucket

They have the U.S.S Cairo preserved and a museum that was closed on a Sunday. Loved that old ship!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

On the way to the next cache we snapped some photos...
Photobucket

Here is the Grand MS. river!
Photobucket

The next cache is an old church that took only $925 dollars to build in it's time. I know folks who pay that in gas per month! YIKES!
Photobucket

Photobucket

We didn't get to open this one...

Because a huge snake that looked like a boa constrictor was in the WAY! We will have to find it another day! I know I walked right by him. And Eli almost did as well to get to the cache! We are all very careful to look and be aware. This huge guy was as still as could be while he waited on those four big animals to leave his domain. Sorry big guy! Thanks for not striking at us!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Anyone know what this is? He has a light brownish red stripe down his back. Matthew thinks everything is a rattler...hee hee...cause he lived in Texas as a child. But this guy never made a sound! We would love to know and I am tired of searching!
