Noey's Valentine Bin

So, I broke down and make a sensory bin. I had looked at all the fun little bins being created all over the internet. I made a Valentine's one for February. Valentine's is a big deal for us. Since it is the day we were married it is the day that started our family of men. :) See, super big deal and very special. More on that later.





Noey had great fun with it.
















Eli and I also read about gasoline engines.





Remy had his math. (He reminds me of my dad here.)





Eli worked on french words in spelling.





A cute little monkey was created by Remy.





The first lizards of spring were held captive by Remy.





Later when daddy came home he helped Remy to learn about sound and how it vibrates and travels. They made the tried and true "phone" with cups and yarn.

Helping Things Grow

I didn't do the big garden with the boys this year. I couldn't give the time to it that it would need. We did give the boys garden goodies in those Easter baskets again this year. The finally decided to plant and play with those garden things they were gifted one HOT day.


Noah hung out in the bouncer.





Piper thinks she is atleast part human and should be in on the gardening fun. Look at this outfit Remy put together. He said that it went together because both the top and the bottoms were blue. Ba ha ha ha ha! He reminds me of my dad, so much!





One of my favorite things I own is that owl watering "can".





These are sunflowers that I helped Noah plant. He really enjoyed his science lesson. :)














Noah is always trying to get to Remy's habitats. He loves to see what is in them and he wants to be allowed to play with them in just the way he desires. Remy came up with this for Noah. He gave him a clean habitat with a fake lizard in it. How cute is that? Look at Noah's mouth in this photo.








I have so loved the summers in this house. This year and last year I did not. I am so ready for fall. It is just harder to have fun in this heat with a baby. I was always told that it would be easier with Noah because he was a summer baby. I must say, I feel it is easier when the weather is cooler.

Remy's Various Critters...and a Remy Funny!

I am so happy that Remy can now find and catch and release so many little animals. It was about to kill him, the winter. He was sick and tired of not having anything to catch. ;)


He found these one day on a tree. They were TINY!!!





This really pretty visitor stayed for a while.








Remy has caught lizards of course. And this next set of critters were found and he exclaimed they were mating.





Which led to him saying something that almost had Matthew falling into the pool as he was cleaning it and ME unable to breathe from laughter. Are you ready? Well, first do you remember this POST? Well, now you do. HEE HEE. Well, we were all sitting there after the mating bugs flew away and he brought up the mating lizards he has seen. He says, "So, Mommy, aren't you glad that daddy doesn't climb up onto your back for you to have babies?" There it is! Enjoy! Have a great laugh! OH BOY, what are we going to do with this one? I will tell you that no one answered his question. HA HA!

Matthew was off of work today and so we had the picnic I had been planning for a while now. :)
