This is the best thing we have ever done as a family. You need a GPS, you need some little trinkets, and you need to get up and get dressed and go exploring and treasure hunting with the kids! OH MY GOSH! Here are a few pictures of our time spent Geocaching as a family. We have found 16 so far...but these are some of the best. :)
Ghost of a cemetery had graves with black rocks piled on top! Matthew and I wondered if it was a cultural thing... We found this cache hidden in an old tree stump outside of the cemetery. It was a gray film canister with just a log inside. We signed it and then went on our way. But not before we met and visited with Mr. Turtle. :)
Another find had on the college grounds in Shreveport. By the Frost Fountain we found a small tubberware container with toys and a log book.
We found it!
We found one in the lightpost of a restuarant!
Cosper Cemetery was our favorite! I suggest doing this one if your ever by our house!
Remy found it!
And here is another find in the woods of a park.
We are close to hiding our first cache! Should be fun to watch all those that find it! :)
