Digging in a Pyramid Rock

We had a WONDERFUL Monday! Lots was accomplished in the lab *cough* we mean school. Hee hee... These little guys are just getting TOO big for their skulls! Big old brains!

They started off the day with time with Daddy and they dug into these little pyramid rocks that we found at walmart when my family was here to visit. They were only .88 cents. Good buy. :)

Eli was just on a roll today. He wrote two creative stories today with prompts. The first one was about his shoes coming to life and eating a bug.
He then wrote another story about himself as a kite. Here it is...
If I were a kite I'd fly in the sky. Way up high in the sky. Going up is hard, but down is easy. So I try my best.
He also said I was one of the most beautiful things he had ever seen. The other things were flowers and birds. :) To know that to him I compare with the beauty of flowers and birds is just SWEET!
Remy did his school as well. And then begged me to do just 5 more with him. I put him off and said that maybe we would do 1 more later. But he got busy with dinner and Eli and forgot! Whew!
He finished up his pilgrim booklet. Yea, we don't ever seem to get stuff done when we "should", but hey he knew what he was talking about. So I guess it is okay the little craft was late. We did do other things during Thanksgiving.

He did some hands on math stuff today.

We made a "chicken" Spinach and Olive pizza tonight for dinner. I used the Quorn nuggets for the "chicken". The kids ATE it up! It was extremely Yummy.

On a more personal note I had to share something that I love about my hubby. When I went to cook today I saw that the sea salt shaker had been refilled. I think in the 10 years we have been married that I have only refilled it 2-3 times. He just always does it. I know it is simple, but I love this!

Also, we had the store meeting here last night. Matt's employee's made a HUGE deal on how pretty Mattmos and I were when we met. Here is a picture of us when we were dating. Years ago...

And to close out...this is the magazine that made my veggie diet possible! Everything we make out of it is YUMMY and good for you. I could have never become the veggie cooker I am without it.

Okay, that is all for today...

Matthew is off tomorrow and Brina will be buy for a small visit. I may or may not be here tomorrow night. :)

I always love to see your boys in the videos. They are just precious. That "Shoe" story was too cute. Ok, so I found the little farm animals for adding numbers and now you are gonna make me run out and find those pyramid rocks for my girls. LOL! I remember Lindsay completing that Thanksgiving book. I love Abeka's craft books. Actually I love all of the ABeka books for Elementary grades. Yum that pizza looks so good. I love spinach on a pizza. MMM! Your little sea salt story made me giggle. Don't you just love those little things they do. ♥ Great pic of y'all!

I'm eating at your house tonight, right? Right? That pizza looks killer yummy. Are you fond of your crust recipe? We make pizza from scratch in the summer and are still playing with crust recipes.

Have fun schooling!

We do like our crust, I use the basic pizza crust from www.breadworld.com I stick it in the bread machine, forget it and then roll it out and top. :)
