4TH of July

We had a wonderful first 4th of July here at our new home.

We took the boys to the fireworks tent and they went nuts. Do I have to admit that I did too? I love buying them. :)

We spent the day swimming and hanging out. We ate our veggie burgers and red bean ice cream outside. The ice cream was just like the Disney version at 9 dragons in Epcot. I will just need to add some Jasmine or flowery essence next time I think. We even make a magical drink!

We had to rush our fireworks because it started to rain. My boys just love watching those things go!

Between sparklers and waiting for it to become dark the boys were changing out of their swim trunks and Matthew got some shots our little wild man.

He flexes those muscles SO much that he has built up quite a definition on each arm! I swear that kid is only bones, muscle, and skin! Hee hee!

Reese was so afraid of the fireworks going on outside that she jumped into my lap and there she sat while I was on the computer. So glad Matthew had his camera out and caught how sweet my fury baby is. :) She loves her mama.

I also found this one on the card Matthew used that day. How big is this guy???

I can't wait to read through my bloggy friends and see the 4th updates! :)

So glad to hear that you had such a wonderful 4th of July! Look at all of those fireworks. That drink looks so yummy and cool. Red bean ice cream? I have never in my life heard of that. Do tell me what it is made with. I am very curious.

We love red bean paste as it is in one of our favorite chinese desserts called a daifuku, a chewy gooey rice cake filled with red bean paste. YUM-O!
