ROOTS!

Saturday daddy went to work and we 3 did what we would have done any other day. Everyone was busy with a long weekend and so we were on our own. :)

Our Celery is very BLUE!

We had a fun time with some experiments let me tell you. I enjoyed learning some things I didn't know. :) We put a sweet potato into water to show that they have slips or shoots. And from these slips they root and form new plants. We will photo it next Saturday to see what has happened.

We also cut up a white potato and planted them in pots, sure to have an eye on each one.

The white potato has eyes or buds that sprout and grow a new plant. The potato is part of the stem!

We then took cuttings from some climbing plants we have and we will watch them new roots!

The boys were so cute running around looking at the projects the next day. They love watching the things we do change/grow!
