PRAISE GOD!

I talked to my mother before lunch after her visit with her mother this morning. Ninny Austin was asking my mother about Jesus and she told my mother and an old friend that she wanted to know him. She was worried about dying. She was worried she wasn't ready. My mother and this old friend witnessed to my mother and she asked very simply for Jesus to come into her heart. She can barely breathe so this is probably the extent of what she said outloud. But I can only imagine the inner prayers and talks she is having with him.

She also told my mother to send a message to me. My Ninny Austin is seeking my forgiveness. She says she is SO SORRY for everything she has done and said to me in the past. That she loves me. She wants to see me. And I can only hope to afford her that in time. Money is tight and my car needs to have new breaks before I can make the 6 hour drive. So pray that all works out.

But atleast my ache and sorrow has been relieved some now. I am having my old pastor from back home to pay her a visit. I am stunned with how quickly the Lord has worked...we are all so blessed. :)

Thankyou for your prayers! Keep them up. I so pray she has a little longer to see those she loves. She was speaking today...in a whisper...from being weak.

Again, thankyou all for the prayers!

Chelita, I read your earlier post this morning, but I simply didn't have time to comment. Your grandmother and family was in my thoughts all day. What a great Thanksgiving blessing! I rejoice with you, as your Sister in Christ, that you have the sweet hope of seeing your Grandmother again no matter what! Thank you, God, for answered prayers.

That's wonderful! How sad to be dying with such pain in your heart for how you have behaved toward those you should have treated the best.

That's so good to hear. Bitterness is such a destroyer and I am glad she is trying to get rid of the bitterness she has kept all these years.
