Happy Easter! :)

It's EASTER!

Our fun began on Saturday while Matthew was at work. We didn't have school because who wants to do school the day before Easter? NOT ME! But we did have an Eastery kind of day. :)

Remy made this sweet little chick. :)

"Mommy I want to give him a kiss because he is so cute!"

This was the cutest thing Remy has EVER made in my opinion. I want to keep it forever and put it out every year. :)

Elijah got in some MoMo snuggles before he started and finished his bunny craft. :)

He had alot of fun making the bunny, but he burned one of his fingers on the glue from the hot glue gun and he was crippled the rest of the night. *rolling eyes*

Remy also made this sweet bunny. :)

Photobucket

We kept up the celebrations once daddy came home. He always does the overseeing of the egg dye, but they were so big they didn't need any help this year. :( We need a new baby!

Elijah is a super neat freak...but Remy...

Photobucket

Let's just say that the table was WORSE! Eli's hand were super clean. :)

This morning the boys awoke to find that the bunny had come and he had eaten a bit of the carrot that was left for him. :)

Photobucket

Remy has been begging for this little gorilla figurine and the bunny didn't forget. ;)

Photobucket

Look close, do you see monkey in his arms. *sigh* I will cry the day monkey is put away.

They have both hinted at needing new nets this spring, glad the bunny came through. ;)

Photobucket

Here is northern Louisiana it POURED and it POURED some more. We couldn't hide eggs until after dinner and then we had to slosh through the huge wet puddles everywhere. It also ruined the chance of a good photo shoot. We plan on mending that one on the next sunny day. :) My friend Myka was hinting at a photo day, I think maybe we should combine it. :) She can take our photo and we can take hers. :)

Photobucket

Sweet little feet!

Photobucket

Atleast the stormy Easter brought out Remy's bestest friends. :)

Photobucket

We did snap off a few inside photos. I look so tired today...the rain did it to me.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I love your looks Eli.

Photobucket

Remy is making his super silly face as he does an impression. One day I will video it and share it, funny stuff!

Photobucket

Oh look...the rain did me in!

Photobucket

We had to do something while we waited out the rain, so I printed off some Easter crafts and we all got to work. :)

Remy made a bunny puppet.

Photobucket

Another little chick in an egg.

Photobucket

We briefly went over the life of Jesus and then talked a bit on why we really celebrate today and how the Easter Bunny came to be in it. :)

Photobucket

We made stuffed hearts with the John 3:16 verse on it. :) I have them hanging over the fireplace now.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I put the red ribbon back up and Rommie has a horrible habit of not staying out of my craft bins in the school room. Matthew caught her in the act. Poor MoMo!

Photobucket

We made our own tombs, but Jesus wasn't there, Praise God!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Remy's is on the left and Eli's on the right.

Photobucket

I took a break to finish up something I have been crocheting. I have finishing left to do, but the "fabric" is all worked up. I will share soon!

Photobucket

Remy took the time to start in on that chocolate bunny!

Photobucket

We did get that wet egg hunt in...finally...

Photobucket

The puppies kept giving the hiding places away!

Remy found a moth friend and the egg hunt was off for a while. Hee hee...

Photobucket

The kids each got a wooden puzzle kit in their bucket and they put them together. The frog is Remy's and the squirrel is Eli's.

Photobucket

Eli also had a mosaic kitty in his bucket.

Photobucket

We finished up the fun with paper beads turned into crosses. :) The first one is mine.

We also want to thank Grammy and Grampy for the sweet homemade card and the yummy candies. :) Grammy, the little eggs came in handy for Eli's bunny craft he made. :)

Great Grandma and Grandpa Crain sent the boys each a card and some fun money inside!

We had a great day despite how much our plans were changed. We spent it together, and we kept Jesus in it. :) I hope everyone who reads here had such a blessed day. :)

What a blessed Easter. We had some rain too, but managed to get the egg hunt in early enough to miss it. The boy's crafts are just wonderful! I love those wooden puzzles. So neat! That photo of the egg in the purple flowers is just awesome! Great shot!

Your day was so packed with fun, I don't even know where to begin on commenting! I love absolutely everything!
We did our eggs on Saturday too. The crafts that your kids made were just delightful. WHat great ideas - and YES, I am going to steal those ideas!
I had to laugh at the photo of the person napping...at first I thought it was one of the kids. Then I realized that it was you! :)
Lovin' the dog photos, as always. Dogs have a special place in my heart.
Your photos of the egg hunt made me envious. They are beautiful photos, with the eggs tucked into the plants. Very creative. Do you hide the eggs, or does Matthew?
One last thing - you know how every person has a "twin" somewhere in the world? Eli's twin lives here in Minnesota. He's my nephew Jake. I am struck with awe everytime I see a photo of him, it's uncanny the resemblence.

Britwife, Matthew and I both hide the eggs, and we have a GOOD time doing so. LOL! We try to one up each other.

Yes, I so get the twin thing, and it is nice to know that Eli's is sage and sount in Minnesota! :)

Chelita..Chelita!!! Have I told you lately what an amazing mom you are!?! I just sat here reading the entire time with a smile on my face..you are amazing!
I wish you could have gotten some pictues of your boys...and all of you...outside. They looked so handsome in those brown shirts, and all of you matched so well. Put those clothes back on and get that camera outside!!!
Remy is starting to look so much like Eli that I have trouble telling the difference in profile shots. Eli is soooo handsome!! He isn't that much younger than Madison..haha ;0!!!
I miss ya'll!

Are you serious! This is incredible! How did you possibly fit so many activities into one day? You are such an awesome mama! I wanna be you when I grow up and get my act together! I did the same Jesus tomb craft with my Sunday School class at church. It was kinda hard to help 24 kids to do it at the same time. But I thought it was a really neat craft! You did the paper beads cross from the same site, too! Incredible! Your kids are SOOOOO lucky and fortunate to have you! I think Justin would be better off learning at your house!
