I know I have been quiet on the blog...but you know how the holidays can demand your attention to family and fun stuff that is away from the computer. :) I have lots of things I have wanted to blog. I will TRY to do a little blogging before Christmas, but forgive me if I don't. :)
I wanted to update about unemployment. I just feel I am to share this. If you have read here long you know that in the spring we learned of Matthew's job loss. Months went by and he found another job. He worked that one for three months and then that one too went away. We have been deep in the midst of holding onto the promise God has given us, that he wants us to prosper and that he will not leave us to face this scary time alone. We held fast, and I myself had moments in the hardest weeks of unemployment where I shouted to God to DO SOMETHING!
Matthew went away for a week because God did answer that call and he has a job!!! He is back home and working. We are so excited to see those first checks. I have never been so excited to pay bills! HA HA!
Hold on dear bloggy friends, even when the storm becomes just too much. Hold on and know that in the end you didn't give up on God!
Merry Christmas!!!!!!

GREAT NEWS!!! :D
Merry Christmas!
Oh wow! That is awesome news!!! I'm so happy for you!!!
And on a more selfish note, thanks for sharing this... my DH has been without a job for over a month now, and still no prospects. No one is hiring. He has been paying bills with little piddly jobs here and there, but nothing permanent and secure. This post of yours gives me the hope to keep trusting in God. :) Thank you so much!
Oh, I'm happy to read that you all are alright!! Hope you will have a beautiful peaceful Christmas. Time is not always a good time, but love and faith help to go on together.
Merry Christmas to you!
Congratulations!!!!!
Praising God with you! Thanks for the reminder to trust God with EVERYTHING! May you have a very Merry Christmas!
Happy, happy, HAPPY for you (and your beautiful family)!! I have prayed for you and will continue to do so.
I have sorted through our homeschool stuff and am wondering if your boys might like some of it. You know - stuff like Usborne Naturalist books, posters of the life cycles, those freaky Triops things that I refuse to stick in water, etc.... :)
Amen! That is a Christmas gift in itself! I hope it will stay steady for you guy's. We are also not working. My hubby is going to Seminary full time. so it is hard...we are only under care with our church. We are having a nice little Christmas at home this year which is ideal anyway. Thanks for the great news. I wondered how you were. (((HUGS))) Mica
I am so haapy for your family.
