Elijah had been telling me that he missed when Noah would fall asleep in his arms. He wanted Noey to fall asleep in his arms just once more. On this night I bathed Mr. Bleu and handed him all wrapped in a towel to his Biggest Brother. He was so tired that evening.
Sweet baby bliss...

...Elijah got his wish. :)

We have all enjoyed sharing this year with such a sweet doll baby.
Noah hit the jackpot when he was born into this family. His biggest brother is always holding him, loving him, and tending him. I have to go get MY BABY from Elijah all the time. I will look around for the baby I put by my feet while doing dishes and when I look back he is gone. That Eli swiped him again! ;)

Eli wrote the sweetest thing during journal time in school. I love his heart. Enjoy. :)

He will also tell you that it was SWWWWWEEEETTTT to finish his book report. HA HA! This one was his best yet!

Eli is the BEST biggest brother ever!
I will have put the baby in the bouncer walk away and come back to see that Eli has picked him up. He loves to hold him and snuggle him. What a blessing it has been to see Eli fall in love with a baby and to know how special a gift it is to have one in the home. :)

Does it get any better than this?

Elijah is a BIG ENORMOUS help to me with Noah. He is always ready to lend a hand and it is such a blessing to have a big son that finds joy in holding and tending to his baby brother. I often find them like this when I come back to collect Noah after I have supper in the oven or have folded my laundry.

I love my oldest boy. He blesses my heart and renews my own spirit so often. He is my mini Matt and I love that some lovely young girl will have a husband some day just like my very own. Let's just pray he doesn't have such a spirited wife as myself! HA HA!
I caught him swinging and studying his verses one afternoon. It was one of those sweet Eli moments that captured my heart and squeezed.

I love you Man-Man!
