Lesson 9

Okay...we last left our master minds on lessons 7 & 8. Today we find them on lesson 9! It was a busy day full of lots of fun! One of the best days of school we have ever had!

Highlights of the day:

~Eli~

In ART today Eli made the cutest 3-D animals. He took his sweet time too! I thought it would never end.

He made a bunny, ladybug and a fish. I will leave it for you to figure out which is which. MU-WA-WA-WA!

He also love Science again today. And I think you will see why! We traced his body...

And color coded the things that are inside of his body. Join us for the journey. Your trip will be shorter than ours...it took FOREVER!
Here is his brain, stomach and esophagus:

We then added his small and large intestines:

Then the lungs and the heart:

Next we needed to show that we have bones:

And muscles:

And last but NOT least...the finished project:

We labeled each part and wrote a few facts about each one near it. We had so much darn fun with this! He is very proud of his body model and has gained lots of knowledge from the last 2 weeks. He knows more about the inner workings of his body than MOST adults! I have to be proud of that! I love teaching him!

~Remy~
Remy was really into his schoolwork as well. He started a booklet that will take a few days to complete and we will share it when we are done. He wants to share a sorting worksheet he did today.

Although this is very babyish for his age he enjoyed it because he likes to do stuff to death. LOL! That is our Remy. He put the toothpaste in the bathroom, the lamp in the living room, the pillow in the bedroom and the sack of groceries in the kitchen. Very fun to Remy. He just loves to use paste!

During art he colored in the missing colors on his page and with a brad he made the cow jump over the MOON! :)

We didn't get to his phonics yet...sigh...but mama is TIRED and dinner needs to be made!

The boys can now continue their journey of world domination...their BRAINS are getting bigger and smarter by the day...*cue the creepy music*
