Last night right before bed Matthew was going out to the pool to add some chemicals and on coming into the house he saw our visitor on the door! :)
My kids were so darn jumpy and happy! *big smiles* They find the evidence fo these visitors all the time. We had even seen one as a tiny baby at the start of spring in the ground.
And some close ups...
Wings before they are all pumped out.
His mouth.
His eye.
His face.
Matthew and I watched some TV and then we went to check on our visitor. He is almost ready to FLY AWAY!
In all my years as a child I never found one still in the baby skin or coming out of the baby skin. Having our kids home with us and teaching them has allowed us an very deep and intimate relationship with them. We are allowed to play, to see things on their level. What is gross to some is now a miracle and we allow ourselves that amazement.
Thankyou to two little dark headed little boys that make our lives so fun and wonder filled. We owe you so very much!
