When this baby, our third child who is now gestating, turns school age we will be homschooling at an elementary, middle, and high school level all at once! HA HA! My, my, my, how fun life is. ;) Matthew about passed out when I told him. It was almost as bad as when I realized I would be 50 when this new one went to college.
Do you ever sit and ponder these sort of things?

Yes, I have. I remember when it hit me that when my youngest graduates high school, I will be 61!

Yep, I thought about it before Lindsy was born. I kept thinking to myself. "Oh my goodness! A kid in elementary, middle, and high school. What am I gonna do?" I was terrified! We have finally reached that point this year and ya know what, we are all doing a wonderful job and I am loving it! At this stage my two older girls are much more independent with their studies. To be honest with you the years are passing by way too fast. In just two more years Hannah will be graduating! I will be 53 when Lindsay graduates! WOW! Funny how the mind gets to thinking about things like that.
I do! I realized while I was pregnant with this last one when he is ready to start K will will be sending our oldest to college! Crazy! But it really makes life interesting! Hope you are doing well!
Lol... I haven't really thought about it, although Justin told me that I better be willing to be a grandparent by 50, because there's a good chance that one of our two will have at least one child by then. I told him they'd be too young... and then he informed me that this NEW ONE would be 24 when I turn 50..!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks on these things. =0) When Princess was born my kids were constantly telling me things like, "When I'm 18, Princess will be 5!" It floored me how old they would be when she was still only a wee one. In the fall we'll have 1 toddler, 1 in K, 1 in 3rd, a 6th grader & 1 in high school. HELP ME!!!!!!!!
Don't need to ponder it, I've lived it! This is why my youngest is more unschooled than her siblings. What can I say? I got all worn out shifting between high school, middle school and elementary work.
Luckily, the older two help their little sister a lot, so I've actually felt guilty that I don't do enough other than carting everyone to their activities. :o)
Peace and Laughter,
Cristina
Hey, it sounds like math! :) :)
Well, mine were so close in age that I didn't have time to ponder much :).
No, I know what you mean, and I think we all do that. It overwhelms me sometimes.
How crazy is that?!?!
