My silly 10 year old.

I take my sweet Beatrix girl out and love on her and allow her free roam of the school room. She loves it. But she loves lovin'. :) I left Elijah in the room with her. It seemed innocent enough at first, but his mind went to work.

He got a little creative and made my sweet Bunny girl a hat. It seems all those hours spent on oragami came in handy? He even made her little ear holes. I didn't even take the photo, he set it all up, and did it himself. He was very pleased with himself and had lots of big belly laughs. :)

She looks cute and ready for a party!

UPS failed me...But Bunny NEVER will!

So...I spent the day after we came home from the doctors here:
Photobucket

Looking out the window for the UPS boxman to come. *sigh* They allowed my box to sit there for 2 FULL days in MS, 2 hours away.

Don't they understand I have waited for 4 months! *Hee Hee*

I played:

Diner Dash....

And I waited.

At 7pm I find out the dreadful news...box is not coming today!

So I go to my trusty message board at JustMommies and WHINE, *cough*, I throw a fit!

And then I realize that while UPS may fail me...

Bunny NEVER will! *sweet smiles and snuggles*

Isn't she just huge and snuggly now????

NITE NITE, I go to dream of boxes that deliver ON TIME!

Don't they know crazy homeschoolers LOVE and NEED those books? *sigh* The life of a homeschool family. Looking forward to school books. Sounds good to me!

A weekend with the Lundell's

We had a WONDERFUL weekend. Friday night Matthew played with the boys and I got these really GREAT photos of Remy hanging upside down.

He played with Bunny for a while, Bunny now has a name! Beatrix! Matthew named her. She loved this blanket that was in the floor.

She BEGS to get out and loves to run around picking whose lap she will grace with her presence. :) Very sweet girl, I am so very thankful she is still with us.

Here are some photos of Remy that night...he is such a ham.

Saturday we went to Mrs. Sherri's house for her daughter Madison's bday party. It was the most fun we have had in a long time. I was able to meet Sherri's twin sister and to see them together is such a blast! They were both such a blessing to me yesterday. I enjoyed my time with them. They are one of those few people in life that you meet and click with. Being with them is easy and it refills your cup for many more days. Vicki has a little son named Landon who is Remy's age and I could have watched him play all night. He is really drawn to music and I bet that he has something to do with music as a grown man.

If you want to stop by Sherri's blog you will be in for a treat: http://ourplaceourplace.blogspot.com/

My boys were SUPER creative today. They made bows and arrows out of stick and rubber bands! Enjoy the photos and video!

How much they enjoyed this!

Tonight I made dinner for Matthew's store meeting he held here at the house. It was very yummy and everyone had a good time. They didn't leave until 9pm! I was a little sad to see them go.

I can't wait for the new week of school! I sure hope that my core stuff from abeka is printed and shipped this week. They are behind on the "3rd" grade stuff. I can't wait! Eli wants to see his new stuff too.

Bunny #2

So, Bunny #1 came home with us. And in the morning he was not doing well. He was rushed to the vet by the store and died a few days later. They are saying a mixture of hypoglycemia, epilypsy, and dehydration. But he DRANK and ATE tons of food that day. Maybe he was just OH I don't know diabetic with a reaction of some sort? I am wondering if he just needed more time with his mama. Just like human infants are different and need more time or less time at the breast...I tend to think the same of bunnies too. :( We miss his sweetness...

We were supposed to go and pick out a new bunny. And then a dear friend passed away on the 6th of January. So, I was in no mood to bring bunny #2 home.

Then On Sunday after church we went to see who they had waiting for us at the store. The nice lady Valerie had saved us a little black bunny, she is very sweet. :)

Are you ready to see her? This time bunny is a girl and she as well does not have a name. Anyone want to help? We like people names.

She is very active and I caught her with her tongue out on one photo...although it is blurry.

She is doing well and I think this one is a keeper. But now Remy wants two bunnies. I do believe she is missing her bunny family. She comes straight away when you open the cage. She wants to be rubbed and patted. I LOVE HER! And so do the children...

Baby Bunny...

First a little history. When Mattmos and I first got married we had a baby bunny named chloe. She was very sweet and she grew into a sweet girl who loved to walk after me. She was litter trained and would come when I called her. I loved her very much. She was meant to be Eli's but she died before he was born. She had cancer, her ear was removed to save her, but she died anyway. It was very sad. :(

I have waited for years and many moves for a new sweet bunny. But we always rented our housing or there wasn't enough room. Well, finally we moved into our new house and last night Matthew bought home the sweetest bunny rabbit in town!

Well, this morning the little baby started to pass out and not act right. :( Matthew rushed him to the pet store and the sweet lady Valerie fed him corn syrup because he was hypglycemic. :( The vet is very optimistic that he will not have to be put to sleep and says his sugar levels need work and that he is dehydrated. I feel so bad for him. We only had him a short time. Last night he ate half a little bowl of food and drank lots of water. We just feel so bad. I totally lost it. I can't lose another bunny baby. I wanted one for so long and he was perfect. *sigh* Please be in prayer for the little guy!
