We are a homeschooling family in NE Louisiana where the crawfish are abundant and the culture is NEVER lacking. The husband and I are raising 3 men together. Our days are full of blessings!

First Day in Florida
I grew up in a small town in florida. It isn't so small anymore. I was so glad to get back to my little town, but I miss my mother, sister, and Ninny so much. I want them with me all of the time. But I won't whine about that anymore...
Remy was Remy the entire time there and he found bugs and other creatures. One must speak with the local wildlife, you know.

I stayed with my sister secretly for days. It was so hard! We were surprising my mother for her 50th birthday party. Tabatha threw an awesome party and our mother was so happy. More on that later!
Tabby and her girls went with me to my inlaws to pay them a visit. My sister in law's little boy "Jack" is so yummy! You can see my sister's sweet little girls on the swing as well. I enjoyed all my Aunt Chelita time.

My sister is so darn pretty. :)
We will call this guy Mr. B. He is my sil's third son. My husband would LOVE him. I tried to steal him away to my house. He loves Noah and he held him lots. He is the person who kept everyone on task and he is sure it is done the correct way. HA HA!

I have so much to catch you all up on. I will go as quickly as I can. Life with Noah Bleu is leaving me very little time for anything but school, baby care, and the barest of household chores. I miss you all!

Remy and his Animal Rescue.
Matthew went to the store and when he came home he had in his hand a very sad Monarch Butterfly. He had found it in the parking lot. The butterfly had been hit by a car and he thought Remy might be able to hospice the poor dear if anything...
Remy made up some sugar water and put it into a makeshift bowl. He tried to get him to eat, but he was in shock. :( How diligently my young animal man worked to save him.
That night I saw the poor dear in spasms...and I knew it was the end. Sure enough the morning dawned with Remy finding the poor creature still. He mourned his little friend and then told me that he would forever belong in his collection of bugs. Atleast he had a safe place to rest as he passed on and he wasn't on the hot pavement.
I am really in awe of Remy's attachment ot all things animal. :) He is so special to me in that way. I never saw the world like I do now.

A Day at Black Bayou
We went out to Black Bayou again the last time Matthew was off of work.
Remy and the big bear gave chase to a boy named Elijah. ;)
We saw a big black catfish.
I think this butterfly is some sort of Fritillary, but I can't find my butterfly book. *sigh*
This snake was wound up and trying his best to not be seen.
This is a Golden Silk Spider. I have never seen one before and we were very excited about him!
The sweet boys...
A very pretty Anole that found himself in just a spot for a photo opt. :) Hee hee...
We LOVE this place and I am planning a surprise picnic unit day for next week out there. :)

Day 2 of Vacation at Epcot!
The 22nd of April brought us to Epcot. And it was a blast! We started out with the Nemo ride. But really the fun for us was with the aquariums afterwards. It was just amazing to ride this and then SURPRISE, there is more! :)
We then had to RUN and RUSH since we lost track of time to meet Tami and her family. I know her from the homeschooling forum on www.JustMommies.com. It is a GREAT message board site with all kinds of mommies, check it out!
ME and TAMI!!!! She is so pretty and I so wish she lived closer! I loved her. :)
The kids got along well. I could have just kept Hailey! What a sweet and social little girl. I want one just like her. :) They were cuter in person! :)
The kids made their masks.
A Juggler in Italy.
Had I been RICH I would have bought these masks for their Jungle room. They were so darn pretty. :)
They had a whole Viking section for Norway. I loved it. We boarded the ride, but it had technical issues and we had to walk out about mid ride. DARN IT! It looked so cool too! I was so upset. But it was pretty cool walking through the ride. LOL!
We visited the butterfly Pavilion and it was my second one on the trip. We also saw one in Destin on the way in. I want one so bad!
We ate in China that night at Nine Dragons. YUM-O!
It was a wonderful day. We finished it up by watching the fireworks from the window seat we had in the restuarant. It was a perfect seat and other little children came to join us and the giggles and OHs and AHs were GREAT. :) It was a perfect day. :)
