Summer Time

Noey is growing up so fast! It seems like I brought home my baby at the end of a very hot summer just yesterday and not almost two years ago. He loves to be outside and into everything we are into. His joy is contagious. I adore him. We all do.


We watched some baby birds in a little bush outside our door. We watched the nest builders, the egg layer, the sweet blue eggs, little hatchlings, and eventually we watched them fly off and away. :)
Matthew was up on the ladder this day taking their photo and Noey decided he needed to help.



The bigger boys showed Noey how to play in a sprinkler.

He seems so much older at 9 than Eli did.



More Swimming!

I remember those last weeks of growing my Bumble Bleu and thinking of this summer. It seemed so far away! I would sit and daydream about my new baby and swimming in the pool. How is it here so fast?


Look at my Remy. He is so cute and big now.





Mr. Bleu fits in so well with us. It is hard to remember life before him.





I see Elijah slipping more and more into young adulthood.





I just eat this time up with my three men. How I love these moments. I push away thoughts of them grown and away.





Remy's silly antics are good for my heart. Gosh, he makes me laugh!





I love watching Noah discover it all for the first time. :)

~Noah Makes a BIG SPLASH~

Here are my boys ready to swim. :) The water was finally warm enough for Mr. Bleu, too! :)








First we allowed Noah to splash in his little pool.

The brothers also introduced him to ice pops in the pool!











Now he is always wanting into the pool. :) I am very thankful for a gate around it and a lock!

Last Moments of Summer...

The boys had one of their favorite people over on one of those last summer days. The water was beginning to chill and they took one last jump into the pool. It was cold but boy did they have fun! :)


They even spent time in our little apple tree. I am not sure how many of those little apples they ate. Hee hee...

Slip N Slide!

I LOVED to do this when I was little. But for some reason my kids just aren't catching on to it too well. They are falling on knees and sliding, which hurts! They can't seem to let go and just do it belly first and they even have a little boogie board to help cushion everything! My husband and my BFF from my own childhood, who I slipped and slided with, have joked about how our kids are WIMPS! HA HA! We remember getting knicked by rocks and twigs. Anywho, the boys are enjoying it, and you can't beat $6 fun!

One last summer day with the Frost family

Renee, Taylor, and Logan came over the week before school started for them again.
